SESOC

Inspection Data Upload

Following the Christchurch Earthquakes, SESOC in collaboration with IPENZ are gathering information that may be used to inform design processes in the future.  Information is being gathered through detailed building inspections, but SESOC is aware that many engineers who may not be currently involved in the recovery process may have first-hand observations from their assistance with rapid safety evaluations.  We wish to gather as much of that information as possible as a service to our members.  Our intention is to summarise these observations and findings so that Engineers may share that insight into what has worked well, and what has not.

This information may also be used to assist the Royal Commission. For further information on the Canterbury Earthquake Royal Commission please visit http://canterbury.royalcommission.govt.nz/

By inputting your fndings and recording your observations below you will be directly supporting how the NZ Engineering community and you will be helping influence the recommendations for informing future policy. We thank you in advance for your contributions.
