SUMMARY:Emerging Structural Engineers Network – Lightning Talks
DESCRIPTION:SESOC ESE are continuing a popular series of events – Lightning Talks. These events are a chance for our emerging engineers to share the projects they are working on\, and open some discussion around challenges and lessons learned. \nThis event features four of our emerging structural engineers from within the Waikato Region. Each engineer will have 10-15 minutes to provide a brief insight into a project they are working on – whether that be a design overview\, a technical challenge or lesson learnt. \nOur presenters and their projects for this event include: \nCampbell Dawson – Rapid Seismic Assessments of Raoul Island Structures\nLiam Edwards – Complex Bridging\nClark Taylor – NZ International Convention Centre\, 103 Colmore Row – Birmingham & The Northern Green\nMatt Fraser – Rototuna High School Expansion\n \nAfter the presentations there will be time for questions and discussion\, followed by food and drink. \nThese events will be held regularly throughout the year to give all of our ESE members the chance to share what they are working on.
