SUMMARY:AWEC Symposium 2026
DESCRIPTION:Following on from our inaugural Advancing Women in Engineering & Construction (AWEC) Symposium in 2022\, and the release of the resultant White Paper\, we are excited to reconvene for our second AWEC Symposium on the 2nd of July\, 2026.  The AWEC initiative is at its core committed to supporting equity for women in their professional careers and is primarily aimed at supporting the development and retention of women in the engineering sector and associated parts of the building & construction industry. \nSponsored Tickets: \nNZSEE and SESOC have committed to sponsoring up to 10 tickets for members to attend this important event. In addition to the ticket\, there is also a grant available that can be used to support travel\, accommodation\, and childcare up to a total of $500 (including GST) per attendee. Our objective here is for women to guide the way forward\, but not be responsible for leading the change.
