Hey guys,
Wondering if someone knows of any design guidance for these systems in NZ.
They are imported and the manufacturer’s engineer’s design does not include site specific conditions e.g. site seismic requirements.
One question is what equivalent viscous damping to use in each direction (parallel and perpendicular to seating). I’m taking design ductility factor as 1.25.
