Interested to know whether other engineers are using the methodology of CCANZ bulletin IB 82 to determine the thickness and reinforcement for concrete panels, rather than the simplistic 0.5kPa uniform load.
The IB 82 methodology leads to thicker walls, higher base moment, etc.

OK, no response to that. The alternative is obviously preferred. Be sure to check the seismic loading if elements are parts, as can govern design even in Auckland.

Most I have reviewed are using the 0.5kpa simplistic approach.
